Mildmay International Kenya (MIK) is a locally registered national NGO in Kenya since 2003. Our vision is “A world where everyone with poverty and disease can have life in all its fullness” and our mission is to “Support and scale up the delivery of sustainable comprehensive health services to communities through community participation and strengthened health systems”.
We have built viable, strategic, synergistic and sustainable partnerships with the National government, County Government, donors, local communities and other non-state actors to support the implementation of coordinated and comprehensive development programs. Our target beneficiaries include People Living with HIV (PLHIV), adolescent girls and young women, adolescent mothers living with HIV, Men in High-Risk Settings, children infected and affected by HIV, Key and vulnerable populations and the general population.
Mildmay currently implements the following programs; – Community HIV Prevention Care and Support, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Human Rights and Gender, and Socio-Economic Empowerment Programs that advocate for sustainable solutions to adolescent girls and young women’s vulnerabilities to HIV and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
Mildmay International Kenya (MIK) is seeking the services of a consultant to provide photography and videography services to document best practices, human interest stories, lessons learnt, achievements and the impact of our projects in Siaya, Vihiga and Homabay Counties.
The consultancy work will include capturing, editing and producing the above content bilingually (English/Kiswahili); knowledge of the area and local language is a must.
